The nuclear organization and location of genes in metazoan organisms is not random. Functionally DNA elements or DNA regions residing on different chromosomes may reside in specific nuclear compartments and stay closely in 3D space. Nucleolus is the largest nuclear compartment and we aim to explore what kind of genomic fractions locate in it.
