Rosa Chinensis epigenome
Genome-wide studies in plants have provided evidence for the role of H3K9ac and H3K27me3 in gene activation and repression, respectively. The roles of these histone modifications in rose remain unknown and represent a represent a limitation to the full understanding of how thousands of bioprocesses are regulated. To determine the genomic landscape of these marks, we performed a ChIP-seq analysis using H3K9ac and H3K27me3 antibodies on petals from a heterozygous plant.
Provenance — who produced it, who reused it
Linked to 1 papers in the literature. Roles are inferred factual signals (who deposited the data vs who reused it), with counts — never a judgement about any author.
Deep data QC
insufficient data to scoreStandardized, field-standard QC computed by touching the data — every metric states how it was obtained
The insufficient grade is a transparent weighted average. Each metric below scored from 0–100% against the published ChIP-seq thresholds, weighted by its importance; nothing is hidden or subjective.
