The histone acetyltransferase (HAT) Mof is essential for mouse embryonic stem cells (mESC) pluripotency and early development. Mof is the enzymatic subunit of two different HAT complexes, MSL (Male-Specific Lethal) and NSL (Non-specific lethal).
