We report RNA sequencing of single olfactory neurons from mouse olfactory epithelium in developmental progression from progenitors to precursors to immature neurons to mature neurons. Most mature neurons expressed only one of ~ 1000 odorant receptor genes (Olfrs) at high levels, whereas many immature neurons expressed low levels of multiple Olfrs.

Deep data QC

metadata only · no data-level QC for this type

Standardized, field-standard QC computed by touching the data — every metric states how it was obtained

No quantitative QC rubric exists for this data type yet, so it is deliberately left unscored — this is an honest "not applicable", not a poor rating.
