LincRNA-EPS is a long noncoding RNA that is expressed in macrophages and downregulated upon exposure to diverse microbial products. Analysis of macrophages from lincRNA-EPS-deficient mice revealed a specific role for this lincRNA in restraining immune response gene (IRG) expression.
