Deep data QC
100/100 · AStandardized, field-standard QC computed by touching the data — every metric states how it was obtained · evidence: measured
16S rRNA amplicon dataset from pig gut microbiome sequenced on Illumina MiSeq, yielding 40+ million short reads totaling 22.4 billion bases with moderate Q30 accuracy (91.2%). Enables livestock microbiota characterization and comparison of intestinal bacterial communities across treatment groups or developmental stages; the 50.7% GC composition reflects porcine cecal and colon flora. Lower Q30 relative to some amplicon datasets may require more stringent filtering for downstream ASV analysis.
The A grade is a transparent weighted average. Each metric below scored from 0–100% against the published amplicon thresholds, weighted by its importance; nothing is hidden or subjective.
