NextSeq 550 bulk RNA-seq from Hormaphis cornu produces ~38.6 million short reads (7.72 billion bases, 96% Q30), high coverage at excellent quality enabling comprehensive transcriptome profiling. This dataset supports sensitive differential expression studies in this aphid species. Bulk sequencing lacks cell-type specificity; reuse is excellent for tissue-level or developmental transcriptomic studies of plant-aphid interactions.
