HiSeq 2000 bulk RNA-seq from Aedes aegypti produces ~45.3 million short reads (9.14 billion bases, 91.2% Q30), very high coverage with elevated N-content (0.221%) enabling comprehensive transcriptome profiling. This dataset supports sensitive differential expression studies after quality filtering. Bulk sequencing lacks cell-type specificity; reuse is excellent for tissue-level or condition-level transcriptomic studies of Aedes.
