Provenance — who produced it, who reused it
Linked to 1 papers in the literature. Roles are inferred factual signals (who deposited the data vs who reused it), with counts — never a judgement about any author.

Deep data QC
83/100 · BStandardized, field-standard QC computed by touching the data — every metric states how it was obtained · evidence: measured
This is a high-depth bulk small-RNA library (annotated miRNA-Seq on MiSeq) whose base-level quality is genuinely strong: 96.6% Q30, mean base quality 36.1, zero adapter contamination, and negligible N-content all indicate clean, well-trimmed reads suitable for confident alignment. The B grade (83/100) is driven down almost entirely by a 96.97% duplication rate, which scored 0 and shaved points despite its partial weight—though for a short-fragment miRNA library this extreme duplication is expected, since the small pool of mature microRNA sequences is sampled repeatedly, so it reflects library biology more than a true defect and should not be over-penalized for small-RNA reuse. The flip side is that the ~36 bp read length and modest depth (7.1M reads) make this appropriate for miRNA quantification but ill-suited to repurposing as general mRNA/transcript-level RNA-seq. Note that the quality, GC, duplication, and adapter metrics are measured but the read and base counts are only reported (evidence_strength=1), so totals/depth should be treated as provisional pending a fully measured pass.
The B grade is a transparent weighted average. Each metric below scored from 0–100% against the published bulk-RNA-seq thresholds, weighted by its importance; nothing is hidden or subjective.
